Do you log in with your e-mail address or User ID? A friend had the same issue, but he did not notice that he always attempted to log in with his e-mail address rather than User ID.

Because there are no skill trees and you can unlock all skills, this would allow for some nice builds.

Yeah, sorry. What I meant with my previous reply is that you can no longer assign stat points and you do not get any stat points by leveling up. Each class has their own unique stat points and they stay the same. For instance: Warrior: 18 STR, 12 AGI, 15 CON, 7 INT, 8 WIS Warlock: 8 STR, 7 AGI, 14 CON, 16 INT, 15 WIS etc. Those stats remain unchanged, but you can get additional stat bonuses from gear, accessories etc. Those would appear, in case of Warrior, like 18 STR (+1).

Hello there, I assume most people have already heard about or seen my name. I'm the guy that runs the community fansite and has been a Community Volunteer in the previous western version of the game. What is left to say? Well, here is a short version of my gaming history: (Just a copy-paste from another introduction of mine on another forum)ž I started my MMORPG journey with Silkroad Online in 2005, after which I moved to Shaiya in 2007 in which I spent almost half of my MMO career. I played Shaiya for 6 years, in which my guildmates and I achieved many records, such as: - multiple weeks unbeaten #1 guild on Lailah Server - record for the highest guild ranking battle score that we held until long after we left the game and was not beaten until 2 episodes (aprox. 4 years) after - the only non-harcore social guild to compete with and beat several hardcore guilds After 6 long, but fun years, the time has come to try out something new. Many friends had already left the game, so it was my turn. The great community we had in our guild was what kept us playing for so long. After Shaiya I jumped from game to game trying to find a new home, which I found in Neverwinter. I can't tell how long I played Neverwinter, I kept coming back to that game, but my next game I played was DK Online. It was a fun MMO which I considered as my new home, as I was able to persuade some of my long lost Shaiya friends to play with me and everything seemed to be perfect. I had the honor to become a GameSage (aka Community Volunteer) for the game and things could not be better. Unfortunately, due to some optimization issues in large scale PvP, the game went into hiatus for fixing and never came back. Although a studio is trying to re-release the game on steam for over a year now, it does not look too promising. After DK Online I went back to Neverwinter again until ArcheAge came out. ArcheAge only lasted a few months for me, due to several reasons. The next game on the list, unless I forgot about some, was Echo of Soul. A decent game in which my guild Eternal was founded for the first time. We were quite successful there being in Top3 Ranking, but we eventually left the game due to the game not heading the direction we hoped. Once Echo of Soul was in the past, I heard about this new upcoming MMORPG that I had seen around before. This game was Black Desert. I tried it out on the japanese server and it was a very fun game, something I had not seen before. Once the russian server came out, we started playing there as a guild and moved to the european server after. Although I am still playing Black Desert to this day, with several breaks, I am impatiently waiting for Ashes of Creation to release. About myself, I am a everlasting Business IT student and working in my countries leading hospitality firm. Due to my job, I get to travel from time to time over the weekends. My plans are somewhat the same, use DK Online to close the gap until AoC, but at this point I am not even so sure anymore if AoC is going to be an option for me. All this time, they only talked, promised, made more promises on top or promises they can't keep and we actually have not seen anything relevant to the actual MMO since the early days and kickstarter promos. This BR nonsense has been ongoing for half a year now and they still don't have it working properly yet.

You cannot restat. Every class has a unique set of base stats.

You can't. You still cannot edit your posts, images still don't work and you still can't link your account to Steam.

1) The game was, in the west at least, first released in 2012 and a few months after it was closed again due to optimization issues. Since then, the game has changed ownership and was acquired by Masangsoft in 2015 and the Korean server is running since then. 2) I never played Paladin personally and I have only ever seen Paladins with Greatsword, but as a Tank class it would make sense that they can equip shields. I can't reply this one 100%. 3) We do not know specifics and the actual difference between the 2 coins yet, other than that one buys all and one is only for untradable items, which does not make much sense by itself. My assumption is that S Coin buys untradable items which are slightly cheaper than if you would buy them with G Coin and be able to trade them. However, cash shop items are stored in a separate bag which is not affected by item loss. 4) The game is Free to Play with the posibility for a "subscription" in form of 30 day premium buffs for convenience. There is in fact a playerbase, but not many are vocal publicly. During CBT we had a peak of 140 concurent players online at the same time, which may not sound like much, but is a promising indicator of a possible playerbase for launch. Many people refused to play CBT/Early Access due to the wipe. If I had to guess, I expect inbetween 500-1000 people on Day 1. As a MMO Veteran, I am sure you will enjoy DK Online as it is an old game by itself with many old-school systems, but it is also modern as it is still in development. It is a gem really, an old game that was not properly released until years after. So old, yet still new.

Since there has been no reply yet, I started to investigate myself. The Steam and Masangsoft Versions are identical: same amount of files, exactly the same size in bytes. Although, even the Masangsoft Launcher Client has a Steam API in it, even though it has nothing to do with Steam. Attemping to launch each of the clients gives different "Login failed" messages. The Masangsoft client says "Network communication has failed. (E9000)" and the Steam client "Login Error. Steam login authentication failed. Please try again later". If I understood this correctly, the Steam client authenticates through Steam accounts and the Global client through masanggames.com accounts. In this case, the inital question still remains: does each client use different accounts? Eg. you cannot login to your Masangsoft account when you launch the game through Steam, as login credentials are entered into the Masangsoft Launcher, which is not present in Steam. This is important for a lot of people that want to buy MSG Coins, which they can only buy with a Masangsoft account, but cannot use with Steam unless we are told that only Masangsoft accounts are used, even for Steam.

The servers are currently offline as release is on March 5th at 11 AM PST, but you can already download the game through the Masangsoft Global Launcher or Steam.

In addition, you can also get more then 1 Fame per Monster if you defeat monsters above your level. I did in fact play CBT, so let me elaborate for you as you clearly lack some CBT information. In the official CBT time-frame, we only got a couple Skill Books from Skill Book Vendors, that is correct. However, after the servers went down after CBT, the servers were accidently opened on February 18th and a few dedicated players, including myself, got to see some changes that were done to the server to prepare for release. According to the following wiki page (http://wiki.dk.masanggames.com/dkwiki/index.php/Hunting_Ground_for_Level_21_to_30), the Valley of Death, Cursed Graveyard, Illusion Lake and Desert of Death areas can drop +9 weapons and +4 armors. Is this correct? Considering weapons break after +6 and armors after +4, the weapon drop is huge.

Another thing I noticed and some people asked me about is why are Coin prices always the same even if you buy more at once? Usually you get bonus coins if you buy in bulk, like: 5$ 50 Coins, 10 $ 100 Coins + 15 Coins bonus, 25$ 250 Coins + 45 Coins bonus, 50 $ 500 Coins + 90 Coins bonus. This would give players an incentive to buy more frequently and buy higher quantities. Seeing some special events or promotions to both celebrate the release and compensate for delaying it twice would surely be appreciated by people. Even if giving some free items for CBT testers is not an option, having a Coin/Cash Shop promotion would also suffice. It is late for that now, but why no Founder Packs?

It also looks like Longswords have better stats overall. After looking at the wiki more thoroughly, Longsword + Shield is the best choice, period.

You can buy skill books from Skill Book Vendors in each city.

Officially, we do not know anything yet. We are not even supposed to know what HP bars were added, but we got to see it briefly because the servers were open when they were not supposed to be.

In addition to the wiki, some posted links resolve to an IP address instead of domain name. It is not much of an issue, except that the majority of players should not know your IP addresses.

Can't say for sure as there have been no damage meters last time I got to play. Maybe they worked on it, maybe they didn't. It was mentioned in several feedback topics so we will see what happens.

To change the title, what you would want to do is go into the Admin CP -> System tab -> General Configuration -> Site Name I see that you added your social profiles, so you must have been on that page before. Although it has been replied to as 'fixed' in my previous topic, image still don't load and topics only show the image URL. This not only applies to images upload by users, but also the boards own emojis. Topic editing also still does not seem to be possible. To make the forum look less plain and empty, also to make it more usable, it would be nice to know which categories have had new topics/replies, what topic has had the last reply and who posted it. There is a Recent Topics widget which serves its purpose right now while there is still low traffic, but unless we open every single category and sub-forum every visit, we have no way of knowing whether something new has been posted or not.
